No recipes this time. Just photos and fun. Two weekends ago I fulfilled my promise to Debby from
A Feast For The Eyes to attend the Food Buzz Festival in San Francisco. What a fun time?! Not to mention one of the best weekends of weather in SF I've ever witnessed. My plate was never empty!
The weekend began with a cocktail party full of networking and appetizers.

Duck Breast with Li Hing Chutney on Rice Cracker |
|
Sarah, myself, our new friend from Alaska Seafood, Brittany from The Kitchenette and Debby. |
|
Crispy Pork Belly with Grilled Pineapple Salsa on Taro Chip |
Afterwards, I dined out on the town at
Scala's Bistro with these lovely ladies. I had a fabulous pappardelle with spicy pork.

Myself, Debby and Allie (new local blogger friend) from Eat At Allie's |
Saturday morning was a little solo exploration. My wandering eyes and pregnant appetite thoroughly enjoyed the self-guided scavenger hunt through the San Francisco Ferry Building and Farmer's Market.
Then I was off to the Taste Pavilion! Tons of vendors showering you with their fork fulls and goodies.

What was left of my Alaskan Seafood treat: HELLO KING CRAB (best bite of the weekend) |

Frosted Cinnamon Bun |

Pork Slider |

What an INCREDIBLE DAY! |
After an afternoon in Union Square and putting my feet up on the third floor of William Sonoma, we dressed for the grand Gala dinner held at the Academy of Science. The evening's photos pale in comparison to the good time we had there: dining amidst the aquarium, wildlife and albino alligator named Claw! And no, he wasn't on the menu.

Bluenose Sea Bass with Red Tomato Chutney |
|
Roasted Yellow Beat Salad with Honey Vinaigrette |
|
Artichoke Ravioli with Arugala and Shaved Asiago dipped in Carrot Ginger Soup |
|
Chicken Saltimbocca with local Artichoke Chips |
|
Escarole and Autumn Chicories, Fennel and Toasted Marcona Almonds Salad |
It was a good night to be a blogger! I met so many wonderful, down to earth people. And while many of my new found friends were full the entire weekend, somehow baby and I seemed to always be ready to eat for the next event. Great timing with this pregnancy!
